The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking to recruit for its Secretariat General (SG) – Shareholder Relations and Institutional Matters Department (SR&IM) – Institutional Representation Division (IRD) – External Offices Unit (EO), at its EIB office in Stockholm, Sweden: TRAINEE
Duration: 5 months (fixed start date: 1st March/April 2025)

Objective of the traineeship
You will be expected, under guidance, to assist in the execution of a series of independent events on topics related to EIB financing. These events range from arranging seminars to smaller round table meetings. The trainee will support both internal and external tasks related to these events.
You will also support various other tasks that contribute to the work of the EIB Group Stockholm Office, particularly enhancing the EIB Group’s visibility towards Swedish universities.

- Assist in coordination and arrangement of meetings and events;
- Perform research and gather information;
- Prepare an action list of issues to be carried out with deadlines;
- Support with invitations and registrations;
- Attend and assist during the events;
- Prepare briefings and presentations; and
- Attend internal and external meetings.
- Final year of studies or University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management, European Studies, Administration, Communication, Engineering and/or IT, or in a related field,
- Experience of studies undertaken in Sweden is an advantage;
- Excellent knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools; and
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of other EU language would be an advantage.
