We are looking for an experienced BI developer to join our team of dedicated and skilled colleagues in the IT department working together within and across teams to drive the continued growth and development of Centrica Energy.

About The Role

You will join a team of 5 colleagues with different backgrounds and different areas of expertise. We hope you will join us and focus on the following areas:

• Develop, implement and maintain BI solutions – data modelling, ETL processes and reports
• Analyse business needs and requirements
• Continuously secure data quality and integrity by identifying and implementing improvements
  
  

We expect that you will work as an integrated part of the team by inspiring us to do things the best way we can and join the debates with your views and perspectives when we are facing new challenges or are designing how we want to do things going forward.

You will have a lot of stakeholders around the business and engage with them to discover what their needs are, if they have changed over time or if the latest improvements have been successful.

About You

We are looking for a team player who enjoys engaging with the team and the stakeholders around the business and takes responsibility for their deliverables. We imagine that the ideal candidate has:

• A relevant education within IT and solid experience within BI development and data visualization
• Experience coding in SQL and C# or similar
• Experience with data modelling
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills as well as communication and collaboration skills
• Detail oriented mindset and is used to working in an environment where priorities and requirements change as the business develops
  
  

It would be an advantage but not a requirement if you have experience working with Tableau and/or Power BI.

As we are a complex and high-paced business your ability to navigate such an environment will be key to your success in this role.
