You will be part of the European Regulatory Affairs Team and will be providing regulatory support for various applications within the ingredients business unit of IFF. You will support primarily the functional ingredients within the EAME (Europe, Africa, and Middle East) region. The preferred location for this job is Brabrand, Denmark.

Your Main Tasks Will Be

• Oversee regulatory compliance within the product portfolio and support the regulatory strategy.
• Actively represent IFF's interests in industry groups.
• Provide advice to internal and external stakeholders on regulatory requirements related to product approvals, labelling, claims, etc.
• Prepare and submit applications for ingredients approvals and liaise with authorities (e.g. EFSA and European Commission) during the process.
• Ensure that products comply with applicable laws and regulations to maintain market approvals.
• Monitor, and interpret changes in legislation, and inform and guide the business unit on how to adapt to these changes.
• Identify potential regulatory risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Provide regulatory support for business projects, product launches, and marketing promotion.
• Execute regulatory projects in collaboration with other colleagues in the regional and/or global team.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Master of Sciences in chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, or related fields.
• Min. 2 years experience in regulatory affairs preferably within a multinational food company.
• Solid understanding of EU food legislation.
• Experience in preparing regulatory submissions to EFSA.
• Ability to translate complex matters into simple messages.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
