About The Job

We are seeking a skilled Product Application Engineer to join your team. As our new Product Application Engineer, you will be responsible for performing back-office technical calculations related to steam, LNG, flue gas, pump & water systems for our product portfolio within the BU Heat & Gas Systems. Your main tasks include:

• System design of steam/Thermal fluid systems based on customer specific requirement with focus on optimizing total boiler system efficiency.
• Maintenance and development of data and internal tools for the systems mentioned above.
• Go-to specialist for Thermodynamic calculation on steam also with LNG, Methanol and ammonia as fuel.
• Preparation of design calculations, technical specifications, and documentation for local sales offices so they can finalize quotations.
• Assist in preparing technical handover material for signed orders internally towards execution organization.
• Support the department in other technical matters.

You have a deep understanding in steam/steam balances and steam related systems and enjoys offering technical solutions striving to gain the best possible energy efficiency. Additional you are eager share/teach your knowledge on future fuels such as methanol, ammonia and other fuels with your new colleagues.

What You Know

We imagine you come with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Naval Architecture & Offshore Engineering, or another related field. Furthermore, you have a couple of years of professional experience, you bring a good system understanding and you have a substantial level of understanding of thermo-dynamics and WHR calculations. It is an advantage if you have experience in the maritime supply industry.

As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
